Monolith

FICUNAM film festival, 2017, invited filmmakers to participate digitally with a 1-minute short film with any topic. The video had to be posted on Instagram and the winner would be the video with the highest amount of likes. My goal was to produce the short film over 5 days. I took on the personal challenge of doing all the animation and sound design by myself.

This was the first time I made a project entirely by myself. Carrying out the activities that normally several departments would do was challenging. Although my video did not win first place, it was a project I did for fun. As a result, it was very satisfying since I left my comfort zone by performing activities I do not normally take care of.
