Coca-Cola stories: Mom’s new boyfriend
For this fooding digital campaign, our aim was to portray how food unites us despite our differences. There were several stories where the main point is a conflict using a classic narrative. With these, we meet Sofia, a music-loving teenager who is just about to meet Edgar, her mom’s new boyfriend.
Narrative was crucial in this project because we had to establish the typical elements of a story in a very precise way in order to find the storytelling way proposed during the briefing. Although this story does not have ‘heroes’ or ‘villains’, the main challenge was to present the conflict between Sofia and Edgar during editing. This was achieved by showing music as the goal both are trying to reach. Music is, too, the element that closes the cycle at the end of the story.
