Sprite: Fight for your Passion
“You are always out there jumping the rope, do something productive!” This is a fact. Teenagers are sometimes considered free souls who waste their time. Sprite wants to show people they are wrong.
For this Sprite digital campaign, we gathered a group of talented teens. Isa Sámano is the Mexican Jump Rope champion, and she is willing to show the world they are wrong when they tell her she does not do anything productive.
Jumping rope is an ordinary activity that could even be boring for some. We had to show the ability with which Isa jumps the rope, and show it is an activity beyond the ordinary. The great variety of angles in which we captured Isa gave us endless options with her jumps. First, I had to get used to the basic routine so I could place myself in the natural progression of the jumps. Once I understood it, I was able to reach an ascending progression until I reached the last, most impactful trick. So as to make this more epic, I used a post-production and rotoscoping resource to close her routine in the most impressive way.
