How Do I Know

A man with dementia tries to remember some parts of his life with his wife. Kiko Morah directed this mystery short film based on Neil Gibson’s famed “Twisted Dark” comics.

The narrative of this short film is pretty simple and it only has some extra flashbacks added. These help provide the basis for certain circumstances in the story. After several reviews form people who saw the short film before its release, the director decided to adjust 1 take so the viewers could receive more information towards the end of the story.

The composition work was very simple. Since the image was fixed, the difficulty lied in having to even the light in the scene with the element. I only took the light on the right side of the image as a reference. Similarly, the greatest reference was the object and the way in which the light reacted on the surface.
