Sismica Studio were responsible for post-producing the movie “Cerveceras, las verdaderas monarcas de un arte” which is available on Prime video. Its synopsis is as follows:

It is a close portrait of women’s role in the brewing industry and in the history of this millenarian beverage. We will, through different testimonials, know the challenges, and achievements of women in this industry, and we will learn how they have helped create beer culture in Mexico and all around the world.

I had the chance to animate the segment explaining how beer was created in this documentary. The goal was to make a fun section that could present historical data.

We decided to use collage aesthetics that could integrate a vintage concept. This technique allowed for a wide visual style that touches on surrealism and that presents history dynamically.
